Transportation and Parking

All student vehicles must have a valid Regis University parking permit when parked on campus. Student permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and do not guarantee that parking spaces in specific locations or lots will be available. Paid parking is available for visitors and guests. Plan your trip.

Bus Pass Program

Traditional undergraduates can pick up a book of 10-ride RTD passes per week to assist with transportation to and from school, internships, volunteer sites, etc. Students can get local or regional passes both of which cover light rail as well as buses. Booklets are available at the Student Center information desk Monday-Friday, from 8AM-10 PM.

Parking On Campus

Students, faculty and staff can purchase a variety of parking permits to park on campus. Visitors, part-time employees, affiliate faculty, etc. who do not frequently park on campus can purchase day or evening parking passes when needed.

Public Transportation

RTD bus line #50 makes frequent stops on Regis Boulevard, and the G line light rail is less than a mile away, connecting campus with the rest of the city. Ride sharing services also operate in the neighborhood.

Paying for Parking

Pay By Kiosk: Pay for parking using the kisoks in designated lots. Be sure to find a parking space before paying as you must park in the lot where you purchase your parking. As of August 2019, kiosks are cashless and only accept credit or debit cards.

Parkmobile App: Get reminders when your hourly parking is getting ready to expire and add more time right from your phone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Paid on-campus parking is enforced from Monday at 6 a.m. through Friday at 4 p.m. There is no charge for parking on campus during weekends and holidays.

Overnight parking is only allowed in Lots 5 (by permit only) and 7. Illegal overnight parking is enforced between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m., Monday through Thursday.

Street parking is subject to local and state regulations enforced 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Lot 5 Residential Parking Permits guarantee residential students a parking space in Lot 5. The Boryla Residential Permit guarantees a space in the Boryla garage. Academic Year, Semester, Payroll Deduct and Affiliate/Faculty Permits are valid parking in all lots expect Lot 5. There is no space guarantee in a particular lot.

Lot 5 and the Boryla parking garage are the only assigned parking lots. These lots are reserved for residential students with a Lot 5 Residential Permit or a Boryla Residential Permit. Commuter students, staff and faculty can park in all other lots.

Yes, but you MUST notify Parking Services prior to the start of break.

You may register multiple vehicles under a single permit, however, only one vehicle may be on campus at a time. Vehicles registered to a single permit parked simultaneously will be issued a parking citation. If you need to have more than one vehicle on campus at a single time, the additional vehicles must be paid for as visiting vehicles.

The possession of a valid ADA placard does not exempt someone from being charged for parking. Additionally, the disabled parking permit must be in the name of the person who is parking on campus.

There are no refunds on parking permits. Please consider the best permit for your schedule.
